Auto techs! Always joyriding our cars, dammit. If only we could put a stop to this madness. IF ONLY THERE WAS SOME WAY.

Ladies and gentlemen, what we have here is a bad situation turned absolutely fan-fucking-tastic .

Canadian LiveLeaker and presumed moose expert !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! brought his Dodge Challenger into a CarStar for service, dreading the thought of his baby being taken for a joyride. But because he doesn't drive a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , he knew he had to find an alternate means of prevention.

Writing his mileage down in front of the tech was a smart enough move. But leaving the dash cam on caught something more precious than gold.

So let this serve as a reminder. Don't let your ride suffer! Write down that mileage, and stay strong!

If this kind of crap is going on at dealerships with your car then just imagine what goes on behind the scenes in the kitchen of your favorite restaurants.

There a Brit on the Skoda forum who lives a lot of the time in the Nederlands. He took his car in for a service at a Dutch dealership. What he forgot about telling them was the dashcam automatically came on when the key was put in the ignition (not when the car was started like most of them) and recorded the whole service, the post service shake-down was done a little too fast but not excessively, it's on the third or fourth run the driver realises the dashcam down the bottom of the windscreen and says something I can't make out and then starts just doing the speed limit. So funny.

Ever see the movie Waiting? It's pretty accurate.

This kind of crap does happen. Mostly younger techs. Not just at dealers. Joyrides are stupid and wrong, but don't mistake a necessary road test for a joyride.
